The Elwood Angling Club is proudly an inclusive club that provides sustainable fishing education for its members & the wider community, whilst performing a custodian role for the environment of Port Phillip Bay and the broader fishing community of Victoria.

Club History

Established in 1901, the historic Elwood Angling Club moved from Prahran in 1939 and was rebuilt in 1957 after a fire. The club is focused on the sport of Angling, is proud of its history and its continued contribution to community groups and its members.

Facilities

Aside from being on the picturesque Elwood Foreshore, we have fantastic club facilities for hire. Close to Melbourne CBD (under 10 km), wheelchair accessible, magnificent sunsets and spectacular views across the bay are all on offer. A good venue for milestone events, family reunions or a variety of classes. The facilities comprise of a main hall with sea views, a kitchen, a smaller room, male and female toilets. Membership

We are proudly an inclusive club that welcomes new members from all backgrounds and experience levels. Come down to our Club Meetings and enjoy the atmosphere and find out more about our membership options. The club has several boats for member use (subject to conditions) .
